Fashion can become so vague it can be influenced by the most peculiar objects. Fashion finds inspiration from fine art, to the movement of cubism, abstract expressionism and pop art. But lets face how can you not, the likes of Andy Warhol, James Reid and iconic paintings such as 'Ophelia' and 'Two Sisters' by Cornelis de vos make it hard not to shape into our own modernized take on these iconic fine art.
Romanticism an era of artistic, literary and intellectual movement, producing some of Europe's most famous artists and writers. Designer, John Galliano romanticism vision blossomed in the fall/winter 1994 and this was pitiful movement as from here on Galliano gained influence. The sweeping dresses combined with the ruffles really captured the Romanticism and created likeness of Beardsleys illustrations for the Aristophanes play, Lysistrata

Hi lovelies, hope you all had a spectacular Christmas and New Year. 2015 holds a lot of opportunities for me and it is very exciting indeed.
Anyway, enough babbling on today I discovered a fantastic up and coming magazine called, Mess. A distinctive magazine, involving streamlined fashion and culture with involvement from artistic upcoming photographers, writers and stylists. All this makes the magazine not only exciting but fresh, it is bringing something new which holds something so beautiful - unzipping a whole new world of fashion.
The editorials of the magazine are brilliant, each article becomes undeniably higher quality, bringing something more quirky and fresh. I can only describe Mess magazine as progressive but i find that intriguing and is why i have taken such a liking to it.
Already the magazine has featured iconic designers such as, Alexandra McQueen, Alexandra Wang and Kenzo - showing the recognition for Mess magazine - unzipping a whole new world of fashion and culture is truly exciting for all readers. I am already hooked!
Sorry, i haven't spoke in a while my life is a manic; A-level is taking over my life...
I type, Myla Dablesio onto Google and related images come up with 'plus size models'? Now the new face of Calvin Klein has become the center of attention of publicity due to her size - in matter of fact she is a size 10. Calvin Klein has been considered to be 'breaking the boundaries' due to the 'size' of their new face for their campaign - it is ludicrous that a size 10 is considered plus size; her height is 5'11 therefore it is all proportional.
Yes, it can be considered she is 'bigger' than any other models that has worked for Calvin Klein but time after time the Fashion Industry is slated due to their promotion of 'skinny girls'; yet when an average sized women stars in a high end designer there becomes an uproar that she is considered, 'too big'. It is like they are conforming to their own stereotypes of only 'skinny girls should feature in the modelling industry'.
Myla Dablesio explains how she is definitely a bigger girl which has starred in Calvin Klein which is quite intimidating yet the pressure of conforming to the typical size of a model was too much. Quite frankly the size of a women should all be natural to them, they should be proportionate and Myla Dablesio, her face is striking and she is quirky and original - she fits in very well.
Hello my lovelies, once again it is another new month - I can't believe how quickly this year has gone it has flown by! Anyway enough rambling on; Topshop, we have all heard of Topshop how could we not. It is the biggest high street designer and it always spread across magazines.
Topshop was founded in 1964 as Peter Robinson's Top Shop, a youth fashion brand within the Sheffield branch of Peter Robinson, a new defunct British department store range. Topshop had its first opening of a stand alone store in 1970, Topman was a spin off brand created to cater for men. It was so successful that it is now run as a separate chain although you still may find some stores are co-located. Over the years Topshop has done extremely well; it is the first high street retail store to appear in London Fashion Week and their clothes has been wore by many celebrities such as Alexa Chung, Kate Moss - who in fact has her own collection called 'Kate Moss x Topshop'. Her clothing range is effortless but also makes a statement which lives up to expectations of Topshop; their clothes are simple and versatile as they can be styled into anything to suit that individual person this is one of the reasons why Topshop is so popular.

Hello everyone, hope all is well! FASHION - one of my favorite things in the entire world; there are so many aspects to it which just make j'adore fashion. Watching the fashion weeks which are spread across the world are to me so exciting; you never really know what to expect every fashion week is so unique. London fashion week always is quite edgy, bold and diverse such as Burberry each season fashionistas fall in love with their collection; the classic trench coat each year is reinterpreted into something fresh and unique.
Christopher Bailey called the prorsum " The Bloomsbury Girls" inspired by the artsy, crafty literature people such as Virginia Wolf who in fact inhabited the Bloombury quarter of London and Charleston house in East Sussex. "Anything that moved they painted it"tying in with why the flowers were hand drawn and smothered everything to dresses, jackets and ponchos. Personally this was one of my favorite falls, everything worked perfectly together; giving it a romantic and cozy feel. Even though the patterns were very bold and almost quite tribal Burberry always contains that very Bristish feel to the clothes. The show was exquisite.
